This year SHPA will be holding it’s statewide two-day Residents Conference in Springfield. What better place to come together and discuss issues related to Permanent Supportive Housing and learn the process and importance of Advocacy than at our State capital! Residents will come together the afternoon of Tuesday, August 8th for a tour of the State capital or Abe Lincoln Museum, learn about the legislative process, and have an opportunity to network at the a meet & greet dinner. Residents will then continue the conference Wednesday morning at The IACAA office for more educational workshops, lunch, and updates from SHPA.

The organization that send the highest percentage of residents will receive a $100 gift card for, one of the Residents lead advocacy events at your agency. Please contact me with any questions.

Registration are due by July 24, 2017.

Residents will be able to register one of two ways:

Staff from your agency (SHPA member agencies only) will sign up residents who are interested in coming to the conference by filling out the conference form along with identifying the staff who will accompany the resident to the conference.
